For use outside, the 60 pea lights come on automatically at dusk for 8 hours, with a multi-function light setting and solar panel, which re-charges the battery during the day. Please note that the performance of these lights will vary depending on the weather conditions. Position the solar panel in a place with full direct sunlight. A bright, sunny day will make the LEDs light up longer and brighter, and a dark, cloudy day will make the light shorter and dimmer.
