PR AND SOCIAL MEDIA ASSISTANT

We’re looking for a PR and Social Media Assistant to join our expanding marketing team and support our PR & Social Media Manager in the day-to-day running of our busy press office. This is an entry level role and will provide the successful applicant with a solid understanding of lifestyle PR and social media. This role is located in our Frome office.


RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

• Coordinating press loans for media and influencers
• Maintaining our image library for press
• Helping to produce monthly reports
• Contribute to campaign ideas
• Supporting the PR and Social Media Manager in both the creation and distribution of press releases
• Monitor the press inbox and respond to journalist requests
• Work with the PR & Social Media Manager to plan and schedule social media content


REQUIREMENTS:

• Good communication skills – both written and verbal
• Although the successful applicant doesn’t need to have any formal experience, it would be helpful to have a basic understanding of all social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest.
• Highly motivated and able to work unsupervised
• Must be competent on Microsoft office
• An interest in home interiors is a must

PHOTOSHOOT COORDINATOR

We are recruiting a Photoshoot Coordinator to support the Senior Stylist & Art Director. This is a very exciting full time, entry level opportunity to join our busy Creative Department. The role is fast paced and diverse, no two days are the same! The Photoshoot Coordinators role is to ensure every aspect of the shoot runs smoothly and to schedule. This role is based in Frome, Somerset


KEY TASKS

• Understanding the Photoshoot process and Cox & Cox products
• Creating shoot plans and managing shoot dates
• Post shoot image management – uploading raw images to the company drive, naming images, adding retouching notes and liaising with the design team
• Manging the photoshoot diary & Liaising with the photography company
• Liaising with Freelance Stylist on available dates and booking in shoots
• Managing image requirements from other departments. Detail shots, various formats, dual siting etc.
• Building a strong relationship with the buying team to ensure the buying & photography departments are in sync
• Managing and updating the Photography Style Guide to ensure products are shot consistently across all categories
• Liaising with Production & Photoshoot Supervisor about use of the company van and when it is required
• Communicating with the Sample Co-ordinator about samples needed and shoot dates
• Communicating with the Senior Stylist about samples being kept as a prop post shoot
• Communicating with Photoshoot & Production Supervisor & Sample Co-Ordinator to ensure post shoot product locations are updated
• Responsible for managing the photoshoot damages
• Responsible for updating the Master copy with post shoot information
• Responsible for the organisation & bookings of the photo studio
• Being available on photoshoots both in house and on location when needed
• Being the point of contact when a freelance stylist is shooting
• Managing images from planning stage to go live: Checking website imagery is correct and up to date.
• Bringing historical images up to current standard – details, alt shots
• Managing photoshoot expenses
• Liaising with the Merchandisers about the re-shoot list
• Carrying out ad-hoc duties for photoshoots
• Assisting on Press days & Press Videos
• Communicating with the Design team about the technical shoot ratios and making sure they are always up to date
• Organising Location Recces and booking locations
• Responsible for best seller props ensuring they are rotated in the studio accordingly
• Responsible for making sure the studio is always stocked with items needed to run a shoot

CANDIDATE

• Must be able to drive and have their own transport.
• Good communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships across the teams
• Must be flexible on working hours as some location shoots are up to 2 hours away.

MID-SENIOR WEIGHT GRAPHIC DESIGNER

Cox & Cox is expanding and we have a newly created role within the design team. We’re looking for a skilled graphic designer who is mid-senior weight and can think on their feet, doesn’t buckle under pressure and who is a perfectionist when it comes to typography and knows their kerning from their tracking, and whose attention to detail is second nature.


ROLE SUMMARY

Joining a small but busy creative team and reporting to the Design Manager, the Graphic Designer will share the responsibility of designing all our seasonal catalogues and support the day to day tasks of the design department, working across all aspects of design with a heavy focus on print and typography.


SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• A degree and/or equivalent in-house or agency experience in a similar design role with a minimum 3+ years experience
• Experienced in Adobe Creative Suite
• A strong portfolio demonstrating all aspects of print and digital design across various customer touch points, ranging from catalogues, brochures, lookbooks, adverts, packaging through to digital assets and web banners
• Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to create beautiful layouts and design work to tight deadlines
• The ability to problem solve and think on their feet and who is experienced enough to know when a job just needs to happen, but also knows when to push back and question the brief for better results
• The ability to stay calm and focused under pressure and juggle several projects at the same time
• Print management experience
• Experience in managing design jobs from creative brief through to final production
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• A positive, proactive and collaborative attitude to working
• Excellent organisational qualities
• Understanding of UX, HTML & CCS and experience of designing for digital marketing would be advantageous but is not essential


RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and creation of catalogue pages, lookbooks and bouncebacks to set brief and instructions
• Liaising with and forging good working relationships with Marketing, Merchandising and Buying departments in creation of all design work
• Briefing Artworkers on image retouching
• Awareness of brand guidelines and house style
• Finalising print ready artwork and uploading to printers
• Checking and correcting proofs
• Attending press passes for all books (when press passing commences again)
• Forging close working relationship with printers
• Ensure production deadlines are met
• Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail across all aspects of design work
• Designing and creating ad-hoc design work from Thank You cards, product packaging through to national press ads

WEB MERCHANDISER

Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for the day to day management of the website
Including checking and merchandising the site search using Klevu/Nosto
Identify search terms which give zero results – identify areas of buying opportunity
• Responsible for the maintenance the website
Item and category performance - promoted/demoted based on sales and clicks
Analyse data from Nosto / GA to improve Customer Journey e.g. website navigation and click rates
Analyse data on what customer are not buying e.g. item has a high click rate but very few customers go on to actually purchase the item
Data from Nosto / GA can be used to inform social media posts and other marketing material so work with the marketing team giving data from website
Competitor Analysis
Broken Links
Manage Nosto and Klevu attribution to override and promote visual merchandising within Categories during target campaigns or seasonality
• Use Google Analytics to inform home page and category pages, Bounce rates and exit pages
• Work with the marketing team and help check email content

SENIOR MARKETING EXECUTIVE (NEW CUSTOMER ACQUISITION)

We are looking for an enthusiastic Senior Marketing Executive with a passion for homewares to drive growth in our customer database. Working as part of our busy marketing team you will have the opportunity to work across all offline marketing channels to promote and grow the Cox & Cox brand. Responsibilities include:
• Working with our media buying agency in London, plan media insert schedules, ensuring that signed off plans are within budget and reflect performance.
• Brief cold list mailing campaign requirements to data agency and develop prospect data plans through to sign off.
• Seek out reader offer opportunities, media partnerships and short-term press deals with homeware titles and national press to ensure ongoing brand coverage within key media.
• Work closely with our PR and Social Media Manager to develop effective brand partnership campaigns to maximise our exposure to relevant audiences and generate new leads and new customers.
• Together with our Digital Marketing Specialist, ensure new customer campaigns are aligned across offline and digital channels to ensure optimum exposure across various new customer touchpoints.
• Work with the Marketing Assistant and external agencies to ensure tactical promotions are executed effectively and in line with the trading calendar.
• Track new customer spend and ensure it remains within set budgets.
• Analyse overall new customer performance on an ongoing basis, including weekly and monthly reporting on CPAs and new customer volumes against last year and against set targets.
• Ensure acquisition budget is optimised across the marketing channels, flagging any required changes in spend to Marketing Manager and Head of Marketing.


SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
• Educated to degree level.
• At least 3 years marketing experience, preferably within direct and working in an offline marketing role, with some digital exposure.
• Experience within an ecommerce business.
• Good numeracy skills, analytical and results driven with a strong ability to interpret and communicate marketing performance.
• Competent in Microsoft Office and ideally have experience of Google Analytics.
