PRODUCT COPYWRITER

ROLE OVERVIEW
As part of the Content Team, the Product Copywriter is a detail-oriented yet imaginative writer responsible for naming and describing Cox & Cox’s growing home and lifestyle products online and in print. The ideal candidate will understand the importance of product information accuracy as well as creative content, for the customer’s journey shopping with Cox & Cox.


RESPONSIBILITIES
• Name products and write compelling product copy with attention to grammar, readability, style and accuracy of product information.
• Work closely with the Buying and Product teams to ensure product content – naming, sizing, disclaimers, features and benefits - are correct and of a high standard online.
• Regularly proofread coxandcox.co.uk and make edits where necessary, keeping range copy consistent and product copy clean and error-free.
• Draft & proofread product guides and ad hoc product related copy.
• Chart, edit & proofread catalogue product copy.
• Work closely with our web merchandisers to attain and react to weekly sales activity.
• Work alongside the Digital Marketing and Ecommerce teams to support messaging, trends and initiatives with robust and relevant product descriptions.
• Respond to requests for online copy changes and edits to remedy any product display issues.
• Support to identify ways to enhance the customer experience; anticipate needs, next steps and obstacles to success.
• Research use of copy on competitive websites, consumer publications, books and social media platforms.


ABOUT YOU
• Versatile, fast writer who can produce up to 200 copy blocks on a weekly basis.
• Eagle-eyed proof reader who cares about detail and takes typos personally!
• Thorough researcher with a commercial outlook.
• Experience of web content administration and web content management systems preferable.
• Experience of commercial copywriting & SEO preferable but not essential.
• Knowledge of and interest in home décor with an affinity for the Cox & Cox customer.

DIGITAL DESIGNER

ROLE SUMMARY
Reporting to the Head of Design, the Digital Designer will work alongside the existing creative team and play an important role in the design process, producing high quality design work from concept right through to finished artwork for web and mobile assets including all company branding, website, email and social assets.


SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
• A degree and/or equivalent in-house or agency experience in a similar role with a minimum 4+ years experience
• Advanced Adobe Photoshop skills
• Excellent typography skills
• Understanding of After Effects and video
• A strong portfolio demonstrating all aspects of digital design work across various customer touch points, ranging from image manipulation, creative digital assets and web banners
• The ability to problem solve and think on their feet and who is experienced enough to know when a job just needs to happen, but also knows when to push back and question the brief for better results
• Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to create beautiful artwork to tight deadlines
• The ability to stay calm and focused under pressure and juggle several projects at the same time
• Strong and pro-active written and verbal communication skills
• A positive, proactive and collaborative attitude to working

DIGITAL MARKETING EXECUTIVE

ROLE SUMMARY
This role will support the Digital Marketing Manager across all Cox & Cox digital marketing channels, including but not limited to SEO, paid search, paid social, programmatic display and affiliates, assisting on all campaigns from planning stages through to execution.


RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
• Support the Digital Marketing Manager in the set-up of integrated digital marketing campaigns across paid search, paid social, programmatic display and affiliates.
• Assist in the delivery of SEO and content strategies (working closely with search agency).
• Act as main point of contact at Cox & Cox for our affiliate management agency, including daily management and tracking of this channel.
• Brief agencies on campaign launch dates in line with seasonal marketing calendar.
• Brief agencies on creatives and ad copy, ensuring assets are delivered on time. Gain sign off of creative assets from internal teams.
• Track channel spend throughout the season, log costs and liaise with the Digital Marketing Manager on any variances to planned spends.
• Support the Digital Marketing Manager in reporting performance of all digital marketing channels using relevant analytics tools, providing performance data on a weekly basis.


ABOUT YOU:
• At least 2 years digital marketing experience, preferably within retail.
• Good knowledge of Google Analytics is required to assist with general reporting and campaign measurement.
• Experience using paid media platforms such as Google Ads and Facebook Business Manager.
• General SEO and search knowledge desirable.
• Understanding of affiliate and programmatic display channels desirable.
• Excellent numeracy skills, analytical and results driven with the ability to interpret and effectively communicate marketing performance.
• Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement.

QUALITY CONTROL COORDINATOR

We are looking for a Quality Control Coordinator to join our friendly and busy in-house Quality Control team in Midsomer Norton, Somerset.

Working hours: Monday to Friday initially 8.30am - 5pm but may move to a shift of 6am to 2pm or 2pm to 10pm

Start date: Immediate

Permanent Contract following completion of 3 months’ probation for the right candidate


KEY TASKS
• Working closely with the Quality Control Manager to follow up from meetings: collating product information and contacting suppliers to chase details
• Quality checking all incoming stock and filing feedback
• Carrying out product testing
• Improving company quality standards
• Building and checking incoming stock, flat pack furniture and instructions
• Checking the website products details / categorisation / images / hyperlinks etc.
• Repacking stock & disassembling flat pack
• Working with our Customer Experience Team, Inbound Team and Merchandise Team.


CANDIDATE
• Basic office experience: excel, word and email

STUDIO ADMINISTRATOR

We are recruiting an entry level Administrator to join our busy Photography Department. Based in our Photography Studio, the successful administrator will assist the team with the planning and co-ordination of our image requirements, as well as ensuring every aspect of the studio runs smoothly. The role is fast paced and diverse, no two days will be the same!


RESPONSIBILITIES
• Maintaining the diary, liaising with our team of Photographers & Stylists.
• Post-photoshoot image management – uploading raw images to the company drive, naming images, adding retouching notes and working closely with the design team to ensure requirements are communicated and well executed.
• Liaising with other departments on image requirements - detail shots, various formats, dual siting, reshoots etc.
• Managing images from planning stage to go live – Ensuring each Cox & Cox product has the correct images online so the customer journey is enhanced and sales can be maximised.
• Communicating with the Buying, Sample and Warehouse teams to create shoot plans and ensure the required samples & products are available for each photoshoot.
• Documenting and maintaining a tracker of all samples that come in and out of the studio.
• Assisting with the studio set up for shoots and being available during photoshoots both in-house and on location (on occasion these may be out of office hours).
• Assisting on Press & Filming days when needed.
• Researching external photoshoot locations, organising recces and booking location when required
• Responsible for general studio upkeep – ensuring props are stored correctly, the studio is tidy and is always stocked with items needed for shoots to run smoothly.
• Managing photoshoot expenses and keeping a record of photoshoot damages.
• Carrying out ad-hoc duties for photoshoots.


SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
• Administratively very strong especially with the Microsoft suite of programmes including Excel, Outlook and Word.
• Organised with excellent attention to detail.
• Must have a positive, approachable and open-minded approach to working.
• Self-starter with the ability to use own initiative and have a drive for continuous improvement.
• Team player, excellent communicator and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
