Here we introduce seven of our distinctive festive trends to add atmosphere to the house in December, in a year where everything seems possible - with oversized decorations, statement paper décor, and sensational silver accessories.

with Pearly Elegance

Capturing the ambience of an extravagant, low-lit house richly decorated for the season - this trend conjures up old glamour, using trees and garlands ladened with the same pearly-toned attic treasures. We've achieved this look with a palette of gold, cream and white, drape swags of pearls between layers and layers of key decorative pieces to create impressive repeat patterns in the tree.

This look is perfect for those looking to go big without completely overhauling their existing decor because you can easily create grandeur by replaying the deep green, graceful swags of the tree above stairways and tabletops - and by adding our new candle tree lights to the existing lights in your tree you can really add to the impact of the scene.

This getaway Christmas look is exotic in its calm beauty, an all-white Christmas where the decoration is sophisticated and understated to nourish the view and celebrate life slowing down in winter. Because of the muted palette, Bali Boho is a great look for neutral homes where you might want to avoid a contrasting Christmas take-over; the décor is in every corner, but it doesn’t take over or shout too loud.

Every home can impress with Holiday Christmas - an exuberant American grand look that makes merry and bright in every family room with a classic red, white and silver theme that uses the key playful icons of Christmas. This is holiday decorating at its best.

Cosy yet poised, this look adds an exquisite lit atmosphere to rooms and creates the perfect backdrop to end the year beautifully and simply – together at home which makes this our most Scandinavian-inspired Christmas look this year.

The Starry Scandi trend shows everyone can create a Christmas wonderland at home - even in the smallest rooms and hallways - by using simple winter icons, a palette of soft neutrals and delicate lights for a breathtaking starlit atmosphere.

We dressed our Young Pine Pre-Lit Christmas Tree with cream and white baubles and metal star decorations for a pared-back Nordic feel. The extra magic comes at night with hanging light curtains and giant glass light-up baubles - fill the scene using fleecy Christmas throws and gifts wrapped in Miniature Stars Wrapping Paper.

BUYER‘S TIP: We have really sought to answer festive challenges with our Christmas lighting this year - adding more indoor outdoor curtain lights and wall-mounted lights to the range because hanging and draping lights will decorate a home, inside and out - without using up space.
