The perfect marriage of modern and vintage style, our compact accent chair is hand crafted and upholstered in Somerset, with a beech and birch hardwood frame, solid oak legs and luxurious slate grey velvet finish.

With a wide, gently curved back and sumptuous seat, each piece is padded with high density foam, which has been interwoven by hand with elasticated webbing for comfort.

The perfect statement piece for your living space, our Laverton Chair has a beautiful, soft sheen and four stylish black oak legs.

Velvet is a delicate fabric, and over time may appear marked / crushed which in different lights can vary the look of the colour

The pile can easily be disturbed by pressure, scratches or crushing, and therefore requires careful handling

If the pile does become crushed, the angle of the pile alters, which may result in areas of the pile appearing lighter or darker in shade and is described as pressure marking

We recommend using a velvet or hard clothes brush in the direction of the pile to care for the fabric and remove crush marks

If soft brushing in this direction isn’t sufficient, light and gentle steaming will also help lift the pile and remove marks - we recommend this is done professionally

If the velvet becomes dusty, it may also be vacuum cleaned, again in the direction of the pile, with the vacuum on an upholstery setting
