Handmade in the UK with a solid birch and beech hardwood frame, our high quality occasional sofa has a luxurious mustard yellow cotton velvet finish and four slender solid oak legs.

Simple in shape with a fixed cosy seat cushion, sprung back and cushioned armrests, each piece is padded with high density foam, which has been interwoven by hand with a feather wrap and elasticated webbing.

Seat Interior, is high density foam with a feather wrap with elasticated webbing, interwoven by hand

Due to feather wrap the seat cushion requires occasional plumping to retain shape and look.

Back interior, is combustion modified resilient foam, with spring suspension

Frame is one entire piece, arms are not detachable

Frame has 10 year manufacturer warranty

Fabric has been rub tested to domestic use 40,000 rubs

This is a fixed cover fabric chair, fabric is non removable

Fabrics are not stain guarded, clean spills immediately with a damp cloth

Velvet is a delicate fabric, and over time may appear crushed which in different lights can vary the look of the colour

The pile can easily be disturbed by pressure or crushing, and therefor requires careful handling

If the pile does become crushed, the angle of the pile alters, which may result in areas of the pile appearing lighter or darker in shade and is described as pressure marking

We recommend using a velvet or hard clothes brush in the direction of the pile to care for the fabric and remove crush marks

If soft brushing in this direction isn’t sufficient, light and gentle steaming will also help lift the pile and remove marks - we recommend this is done professionally

If the velvet becomes dusty,it may also be vacuum cleaned, again in the direction of the pile, with the vacuum on an upholstery setting

Fabrics are not stain guarded, clean spills immediately with a damp cloth

This is a large/heavy item which will be delivered by a 2 MAN team. Delivery costs £60 and is available to the UK mainland only, this item takes up to 10 working days for delivery.
